What you will be doing in this role


In this role, you'll be focused on managing a talented team of French freelance photographers. You will work closely with your regional team to make the French team of photographers grow and the French revenue as well. You will be one of the main points of contact for the photographers and will be the intermediary between them and the Smiler core team.

Within the Smiler organization you will be part of the Commercial team. In this role you will work closely together with the Territory Manager of your region, the City Captain of Paris, and the other Destination Coordinators of your team. 

Job requirements

  • You help get photographers activated and working, on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • You’re data focused. You will review stats from photographers in no time.
  • You drive engagement in the first period of their Smiler journey - a little personal
  • email here, or a phone call. Maybe some words of encouragement, or reward. You can also organize in-person training to meet the different photographers
  • You understand how to improve the performance of your photographers and you
  • work closely with your City Captain to bring them up into higher bands / levels.
  • You’re the go-to person for scheduling at venues and hotspots
  • For the near term, you’re responsible for the photographer admin
  • You are responsible for the photographer's weekly payments
  • You will manage with the help of the City Captain all the incoming bookings for presold photoshoots
  • You will search for events and new opportunities in Paris for the photographers to work at

What you are able to bring to the table

  • Multi-task profile, with a good organisation and efficiency in administrative tasks

  • Ability to communicate in English confidently and clearly with various audiences both verbally and in writing. French is a mandatory language.

  • Avid listener and learner

  • Problem solver with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

  • Start up Experience or interest

  • Preferred: familiarity with tooling such as Google suite and general data tools.

  • Interest in photography preferred
