Job description

Smiler, an international platform for tourism and candid photography, is looking for an outgoing and proactive photographer for family and private tour photoshoots across India. This is a great opportunity to combine your people skills with your eye for photography while creating meaningful memories for visitors.

We are launching a new project focused on documentary-style photography during guided tours. If the collaboration goes well, there may be ongoing opportunities.

Project: Princess Diamond – Golden Triangle Tour

Travel dates: 22–29 January 2026
Locations: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur

You will be required to follow the guided tours and capture candid, authentic moments of travelers throughout their journey.
Downtime: there will be free hours during the day.

Group Size: 27 guests.

Photo Delivery: One full delivery at the end of the trip (not daily).

Travel & Accommodation: Photographer travels with the group; accommodation in all cities is covered.

Additional Coverage: Only if the content is branded/suitable.

Dress Code: T-shirt will be provided; black trousers required.

Job requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience in portrait, travel, or documentary-style photography

  • Experience with daytime and low-light/nighttime photography

  • A strong portfolio or Instagram showcasing your style, artistic vision, and technical skills

  • Confident use of Adobe Lightroom or similar photo-editing software

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable interacting with groups and tour guides

  • Ability to follow a structured itinerary and stay proactive throughout the tours

  • Flexibility to work full days across several cities (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur)

  • Based in India or able to travel to the starting point (Delhi)

  • Your own smartphone with internet access

  • Regular access to a computer for photo delivery
